Transformation of Straight to the Bar
Over the years this site has grown from a humble workout blog to an appreciation of physical strength in any form. This has been – and continues to be – an incredible experience. Thank you.
At the heart of Straight to the Bar is a fantastic community of people who share an undeniable passion for lifting heavy objects. This love of the iron is shared through email, tweets, youtube videos and many other media. Love it.
In order to get even closer to this community, Straight to the Bar has been transformed into a forum over the past few days. As well as communicating with me, everyone will be more able to discuss training ideas and techniques directly with each other. Much more effective.
Additionally, I’ll be creating a lot of new content for the new-look site. Of course, the many, many articles (posted over the last 5 years) will remain. You’ll find them all here.
Hope everyone enjoys the change. If you’ve got any questions/comments/suggestions, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.
See you inside.
I love sandbag training, and this is definitely the way to do it right.
Rope training is fantastic, and this is my weapon of choice. Heavy, flexible and supremely strong.
If you’re just beginning your bending journey, this is the perfect place to start.
